The Health Education Program For Developing Communities (HEPFDC) was developed to help US & global physicians, families and communities save the most lives and prevent the most suffering through health promotion and prevention of their most common and serious health conditions (The 70%).
It is based on WHO and HHS evidence-based guidelines for both Ministry of Health and US regulatory approval, and is used at the Hospital/Clinic as well as Family/Community levels of care,
However, there are times when compliance with the best evidence-based guidelines may not be possible and procedures may need to be modified (Lack of means to boil water for example), and guidelines also change as new evidence becomes available. There may also be delays in the availability of updates.

NAME CHANGE
We changed the name of Health Education Program For Developing Countries to Health Education Program For Developing Communities in April 2016. All communities are in ongoing stages of development, and not always for the best. In fact, people in so called “developed” countries are often much more in need of evidence-based nutrition and other lifestyle guidelines than people in so called “developing” countries. And as reported by the WHO, unless that changes, the resulting “Slow Motion Disasters,” although preventable, will bankrupt “even the wealthiest countries.”
